In just under a decade, Christina Brown went from design school to partner at Eastlake Studio, making her the youngest person in the firm’s history to lead the charge in managing 10 other interior designers.

Early on, her passion was drawn in the sand...or raked in the leaves, rather. She was fascinated with her engineer father’s drawings, and made floor plans from autumn foliage as a kid. The lone female in her high school drafting class, she went on to study architecture before finding design in college at Virginia Tech.

During her time at Eastlake, Christina has designed offices for the Chicago Tribune, ActiveCampaign, Levy Family Partners, Chicago Council on Global Affairs,  McCormick Foundation, JMB, Apollo Group, Avant, Cision and Vibes Media, to name a few. Her work has earned numerous IIDA RED Awards and coverage in publications, including a 2018 interiors + sources cover story on ActiveCampaign, and a 2013 Chicago Architect cover story on Pandora’s Chicago sales office in Chicago Architect magazine.

Christina has recently spearheaded a creative initiative that allows organizations to use Eastlake Studio for events, lectures, concerts and more, hosting Designs4Dignity, AIA, Chicago Architecture Center, Chicago Women Architects, Edgar Miller Legacy and SoFar Sounds in 2019. Additionally, she volunteers for City of Hope, a nonprofit whose mission is to make a difference in the lives of people with cancer and other serious illnesses through lifesaving research.
